The Reds looked as if they were interested in winning on the road after jumping out to a 4-0 lead against the Dodgers last night but the shortstops had a little trouble with their depth perception (Janish has an inner ear problem and Hairston Jr.'s untreated syphillis is starting to rot his brain) and Weathers loaded them up and failed to slime his way out of it. The author would prefer they got out to a bigger lead before having to face the Dodger bullpen. Too many angry guys and filthy foreignors in there.
For the offense, Donkey went deep for the fifth game in a row, which he should continue today. He even added a single and a walk to his game line. And Corey Patterson got back in the starting lineup. If you say that you didn't miss his bat, you are a liar and a scoundrel. I still expect 5 wins off this road trip, unless there are more stops after San Diego, which is possible. I've misplaced my pocket schedule. Matt Belisle today! Set your dials for domination.

Hairston should see a doctor and get that taken care of.
