You Can't Make a Mistake to So Taguchi, Reds Lose 4-3

The picture to the right was actually found when the author was looking for a way to express the Reds loss to the Rockies the other day. The title of the Google search was "distraught". The author felt it was equally applicable after the loss tonight. If three hits by David Eckstein wasn't bad enough, the offense let Ryan Franklin wriggle out of trouble rather than punch him in the stomach, like he so badly deserves. That ground out by Junior was particularly painful. Get those runs in.

On a more upbeat note, Hambone returned tonight and got a hit and Narron's favorite third baseman reached base five times and has his average at .271. Pretty impressive considering he wasn't even good enough to be at the major league level three weeks ago. He must have finally apologized for missing Krivsky's birthday party. That guy has thin skin. Harang pitched well enough and tomorrow we get to see Arroyo and his new, well, ineffectiveness. Maybe he'll get some outs or bring his guitar to the ballpark. It's been awhile since I've heard an athlete cover a Creed song. It is the Cardinals after all. How about a big ol' win tomorrow? Come on, how about it?
