Reds Relent, Give Cubs Fleeting Sense of Accomplishment 7-0
This picture seems pretty representative of the play today, David Ross getting whacked in the coin purse by Daryle Ward. However, since we're on the topic of Daggum Ross, big basehit today. His average skyrocketed to .095. Not too shabby.
We all know that, while the outcome today was not especially positive, as the subject alludes, all baseball-related joy in Chicago will be short lived (no one can get that excited about the White Sox). The team, under the strict directive of Narron (seriously, why else would he walk Ward to get to Soriano? Crazy like a fox) conserved energy today so that they can properly administer a nationally televised pounding tomorrow. It will be sweet.
